Adiva’s ear is smaller. I just know it! I can’t wait to flush it out. And I can tell the stuff coming out of it is different. Hmmm. And today, for the first time, she’s really not wanting me to touch it. That isn’t like her at all. Granted, there’s a lot of activity on the street - people walking, biking, kids yelling on the next street - and she’s not 100% focused on me. But she doesn’t want me pushing that catheter into her ear. Hold the phone - I can’t get it in. WTF? I push the flush in while trying to push the catheter in deeper and it’s hitting resistance. OMG, is it healing? I mean, why else would it feel that way? And the scar tissue is softer. And smaller. I’m super optimistic that this might actually finally heal.
Farrier is due out tomorrow. Can’t wait to hear what he says - the girls are so much better about picking up their feet and standing quietly. Adiva’s feet are kinda long because she wasn’t done with Anni last time. At least now they’ll be on the same schedule. And I think he’ll be very happy with the condition of Anni’s feet. I’ve been putting moisturizer on and I think her feet are looking awesome. We’ll see what he thinks.
