Karma‘s got a mean left hook…A.K.A. It must be summer in Florida

I had planned on going to the tack store after work. I also needed hay. The plan was to take the truck to work, get hay, drop it off, go to the tack store a half hour north, and be done with it. But…I work half way to the tack store. So, shouldn’t I just run up after work first? Yup, that makes sense.

Work sucks today, so I decide to play an April Fool’s joke on some friends. Hehehe, it was really good, too!

So after work I toodle my way on up to the tack store, and while I’m shopping, it starts raining. OK, not good. But, maybe it’s not raining in Melbourne. I rush home, and you should see the effing clouds rolling in from the south. So, if I jump in the truck and race to the feed store, I may just make it. Lightning strikes right outside the feed store. Yay. NOT. Did I mention I need to get gas, too? Sigh. The clouds are right overhead…sky opens up as soon as the first bale gets into the truck. Continues the entire way to the barn, even with the stop at the gas station. And of course, the sun is out. I’m actually in the middle of a break in the clouds, and it’s still pouring. Of course. Wanna know when the rain stops? Yup, as soon as the last bale gets unloaded.

And whether that’s Karma kicking me in the ass or our lovely normal summertime rain pattern, I don’t know.
